SYNOPSIS
NRG Advancing Nuclear Medicine is navigating the complex world of nuclear isotope production with the help of Siemens Simcenter STAR-CCM+ multiphysics simulation software. With this state-of-the-art tool, NRG is able to virtually explore the design of complex processes that are impossible to study through physical experiments, including the thermal hydraulics and structural dynamics of nuclear pebble-bed reactors and liquid metal cooled nuclear reactors.
